Weddings Diary: Episode 4

Nikhil weds Diksha 💕💕

Do dil mil rahe hai, magar not chupke chupke. Hey how are you, hope doing great in 2020. Chalo, now when we are free from the festival mood of Snakranti, Lohri, Bhogi etc, lets peep in to the wedding of... Nikhil & Diksha.

Till now we saw that Vinayak was successful in convincing Diksha for marriage. But, what is happening in Singapore, so tighten your belts as we are flying to Singapore, in a moment.

Singapore (Nikhil's residence)

Nikhil was excited, as Vinayak called him up and told everything that he convinced his fiancee for marriage.

Nikhil was shouting in excitement..

N: Simmi....SSSSSSS   Simmi....Simmi....

(Simmi, Nikhil's younger sis)

Simmi: Kya bhai, Why are you shouting ? Diksha, ne haa kar di kya? (and she was rubbing her eyes, as she got up just now)

N: Arey! How you know? I thought I will surprise you and you'll be equally excited.

S: Bhai! do you think you can surprise me..

N: (Snobs) Okay... I know , you know me well. Anyways, this calls for celebration, as she finally agreed, and thanks to Motu. Wo nai hota, then this wouldnt have been possible.

S: Motu...?? Who motu?

N: Oh sorry, Vinayak. Diksha calls him Motu, her best friend. 

S: Seems, he knows her well. Anyways, good news, lets have Champaigne

N: Sure..jo tu boley...But, now you have to be on your toes and coordinate with Vinayak for the wedding preparations. I am leaving for Canada, next week, so it's you who has to handle everything. I am sure you and Vinayak will coordinate and manage everything.

S: hmm, sure.. Dont you worry, I will take care and coordinate with ...Motu.. I mean Vinayak.

The marriage was in next 2 months, and it was going to happen in Goa. Simmi was working on the themes and requirements for the wedding. She thought to have a word with Vinayak, regarding arrangements and so she called him:

V: Hello Simmi, how are you? 

S: Hi, am good, thanks. I thought I would have to introduce myself, but seems you know me.

V: Yeah obviously, Nikhil spoke about you, and I have your number saved, so ...

S: Ok, cool. So... 

V: So...

S: What...

V: Arey kya puchna hai...sentence mei daalogi.

S: Will u marry me?

V: What!

S: aur kya expect kar re ho, I am asking about the preparation, venue etc for their marriage. Ab clear hai, to plz batao

V: Yaar, you scared me. I thought only Diksha is a crazy female, didnt knew all are same.

S: if you are done praising females, then shall we discuss work..

V: ya sorry.. our venue is Goa. it is going to be a 5 days plan. All 5 days have to be uniquely planned, and you are welcome with all your creative ideas.

S: Okay. See.. the wedding day and sagai day, will be fixed with cocktail party. Keep 1st day for beach party, hire a boat for a bachelors party.

V: cool. I ll check these out. 

S: and listen for vidaai, I want this to go traditional, with a doli..

V: Listen baby, this we'll do on your wedding, Diksha ki vidaai ki sawari is fixed long back.

S: Why cant you talk straight.. may I kno whats that.

V: Rikshaw...

S: chiii... rikshaw...

V: Yess baby, Riksahw, and I ll be pedalling it. I know they both must be heavy to pull, so you guys would push from behind.

S: If Diksha wants this, then I wouldnt interfere.

V: Its not Diksha, Its me who want this.. I told her long back, almost 20 years back

S: This is not done, why your choice will be final. Mere bhai ki shadi hai, my decision will be final.

V: not happening.

(Simmi gets annoyed and hung up the call)

(Singapore)

Simmi: What does he think of himself, dost hai not family. Why is he deciding everything... vidaai to doli par hi hogi... and she recieves a message.. it was Vinayak.

Vinayak: Sorry.. dont feel bad, but vidaai hogi mere style se, doli par aap aa jana...

(Simmi was now more irritated..and replied)

S: We will see.. but apart from vidaai we have lot more to plan, and I hope we will not be planning things in this way.. 

Lets decide the themes, guest list, menu... 

And they both planned the wedding, with fights n arguments but finally everything was planned. And the D-day was near when Nikhil's family was all set to fly to Mumabi. Vinayak and Simmi had never met but by now they know each other very well. Simmi was somewhat eager to meet him.

Mumbai...

Every one was running here and there. Preparations for the welcoming of the groom's family was at the peak. 

Diksha talking to Vinayak..

D: Motu am so happy, you have planned everything so nicely. Thank u so much

V: Ho gaya tera melodrama... Kya yaar, meri shaadi tu plan karegi, hisaab barabar.

D: To tujhe Singapore ana padega shadi karne... (and they both laughed)

There was a security call... and the guests have arrived.

Again everyone was in motion.... Diksha's mom was ready with Arti to welcome the prime guests...

Everyone were cheerful and happy.
Ab yaha se shuru hoga real drama, fun, romance because  the family is moving to Goa, and waha honey wala hai, full on drama.
